SYJ Foundation

This is a basic class focusing on the fundamentals of SYJ's signature style of yoga. If you are a beginner or just interested in a slower-paced foundational practice this is for you. Emphasis on clear healthy alignment in yoga poses as well as learning breath awareness and simple meditation techniques. There are no prerequisites (you don’t need to touch your toes). We encourage you to get stronger and more flexible as well as learn to move through your life a little more peacefully and sweetly. This class may definitely challenge you in a good way.

    Alyssa's foundation class is a classic SYJ alignment-based foundational class with a whole bunch of sweet movement and grounding breathwork.

  • SYJ Foundations w/ Liz | 60 min.

    Simple, focused, strong, and smart - all Liz, all foundations.
    Props - strap and a block or 2.

  • BK Foundations Root Chakra - Strong Legs

  • SYJ Foundations w/ Alyssa | 60 min.

    Alyssa shows up and asks you to do the same in this sweet foundation class that's a potpourri of sorts. Expect some heart-opening, hip openers, and gentle twists.

  • SYJ Foundations w/ Liz | 60 min.

    Join Liz as she takes you through a signature SYJ Foundation Class. This basic level class includes a breath focused centering, followed by a sequence that will invigorate and strengthen your entire body.
    Suggested Prop: 2 blocks, Belt, blanket or Towel/Pillow
