SYJ Foundation

This is a basic class focusing on the fundamentals of SYJ's signature style of yoga. If you are a beginner or just interested in a slower-paced foundational practice this is for you. Emphasis on clear healthy alignment in yoga poses as well as learning breath awareness and simple meditation techniques. There are no prerequisites (you don’t need to touch your toes). We encourage you to get stronger and more flexible as well as learn to move through your life a little more peacefully and sweetly. This class may definitely challenge you in a good way.

    SYJ Foundations - This is a super accessible foundation class. Simple postures, with back bends and standing poses.

  • SYJ Foundations w/ Liz | 60 min.

    Simple, focused, strong, and smart - all Liz, all foundations.
    Props - strap and a block or 2.

  • SYJ Foundations w/ Charlotte Live Replay | 60 min.

    Charlotte's foundation class is a classic SYJ alignment-based foundational. Join her for some basic spine mobility and hip opening and sweet amount of breath work. Props - blocks and a folded blanket & bolster/pillow.

  • SYJ Foundations w/Ranjini | 60 min.

    Join Ranjini for a classic SYJ foundational yoga class. Build strength in your legs and open up your spine.

  • SYJ Foundations w/ Liz | 60 min.

    Join Liz as she takes you through a signature SYJ Foundation Class. This basic level class includes a breath focused centering, followed by a sequence that will invigorate and strengthen your entire body.
    Suggested Prop: 2 blocks, Belt, blanket or Towel/Pillow

  • SYJ Foundation w/ Vicky | 60 min.

    Join Vicky as she takes you through a signature SYJ Foundation Class. This basic level class includes a sweet breath-centered focusing followed by a sequence that will invigorate and strengthen your entire body. No stone unturned but done so sweetly.
